Ava Goes To Moab!

One weekend in August, Ava got invited to go to Moab with our friends Liz and Roland and their daughter Izzy. This was Ava's first weekend away from Mom and Dad! Ava had a blast hanging out with the other kids rafting, swimming and eating her first snow cone!

Hay!

We watched the process of having the fields "hayed" this year with cutting, turning, baling and loading. It was pretty exciting! We hope to see it all done again next year. The baling truck was the most exciting watching those bales stack up and flip into a wall of hay.

Ava Visits Riversong Ranch

Ava got to visit our friends, the Klingmans, horse ranch earlier this summer. She was apprehensive at first and then she couldn't get enough horse riding.

Cole's First Smiles

Cole has been smiling for a few weeks now but I finally caught it on camera!

Grandpa Gary Comes to Visit

Grandpa Gary travelled all the way from California with a trailer carrying a swing set for the kids. After a hundred pieces of wood, countless bolts and wood screws and a week of time, we got it all built. If only I had taken some photos during the construction. Ava and Cole had lots of fun visiting with Grandpa and will enjoy the swing set for years to come.

Cole

Cole is gaining weight and starting to fill out. He's smiling and starting to have a bit of personality! His big sister Ava is getting used to having him around and thinks he might be a little fun!

Just a Few Weeks Away!

After months of construction, our new home is almost completed! We'll be moving in just a few weeks. These final stages have been very exciting - hardwood floors, cabinets, plumbing fixtures, etc. Everyone is getting excited to move in! Ava loves her new "yellow" room and we love that Cole will have a room! Come visit us soon to see the place!
